DISCUSSION ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS You will participate in four Discussions that are designed to facilitate a community learning experience through threads and replies mimicking face-to-face discussion. Please follow the specific guidelines explained below and in each Discussion prompt, as well as, those outlined in the Discussion Grading Rubric. Discuss how the following Guiding Questions—which are based on the structural theories lens—help you better understand your organization. Guiding Questions What is the chain of command in your organization? a. What is the formal authority in the organization? b. That is, who has economic, legal, contractual, collegial authority? Your thread must contain a minimum of 250 words and a maximum of 300 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. This promotes writing that is thorough yet concise enough to permit your peers to read all of the threads. Each thread must adhere to current APA writing guidelines and any references included in the thread must be formatted in current APA style. Since this is a personal discussion, you are allowed to use the first-person perspective; however, you must maintain professional decorum in all your threads and replies.
