This is an early childhood education assessment (NOT HIGH SCHOOL) (DO NOT USE AI VERY SERIOUS/ USE IT VERY SMART) The purpose of this assessment is to create a digital portfolio resource that emphasizes building relationships with families, children, and colleagues to apply your understanding of inclusive practice in your teaching. This portfolio is intended to be an evolving resource, to be added to throughout your future learning and practice. I have uploaded and example please check both examples for reading to reference. Assessment Structure Your portfolio should include the following parts: Statement of Philosophy (200 words): Write a 300-word statement that outlines your philosophy or understanding of inclusive practice. This statement should be suitable to share with families, children, colleagues, supervisors, or school administrators. Reference at least three unit readings in your statement: The EYLF document or the VEYLDF document The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child document The Statement on the Inclusion of Every Child in Early Childhood Education and Care document Propose Questions (6 questions in total): Develop questions to use in conversations with parents, children, and colleagues to support inclusive practice. Create 2 questions for each group: Parents or families Children Colleagues, supervisors, and school administrators Provide a justification for each question, explaining why you are asking it and how it supports inclusive practice. Use relevant literature to support your justifications. Resource List: Include at least 5 links to credible resources that support your understanding of inclusive practice in teaching. Write a brief explanation (one or two sentences) for each resource, detailing its usefulness in supporting inclusive practice. Resources can include websites, readings, picture books, songs, videos, professional trainings, etc. Reference List: Include a reference list in Harvard or APA 7 style. Ensure that you reference at least 3 unit readings throughout your assessment. These readings should support both your philosophy statement and the justifications for your questions.
