Prompt: Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others. I want my essay to focus on leaving my hometown in upstate NY to relocate in PA after my 8th grade graduation and entering the unknown of: location, friends, high school, etc. There were many challenges and fears to this move as a teenager. This event in my life was a huge, eye opening experience in that with change can come growth. I want the essay to convene that this realization can help achieve many goals in life that leads to better understanding of myself and the confidence to take on more change and follow many paths and forks in the road.
