You will create a Resource Guide/Brochure for Parents and Families. The informational brochure will be used to explain how you will implement music and movement in your future classroom as an Early Childhood educator. Included in the brochure will be: Please use a “brochure” template to create this assignment. Write about the importance of music in the classroom. TWO activities for parents to do with their children (in their home) At least THREE resources appropriate for age group (websites/apps) TWO community resources – places that parents could take their children to learn music and movement activities. Additional graphics are ENCOURAGED to enhance your Brochure. You are required to use terminology from the musical performance standards of the National Association (MENC) in order to meet your objectives.
